Julia Wardle

Julia Wardle is a second year in CCT with an academic emphasis in Political Communication, specifically as it involves Disabilities Studies. She wants to explore how technology has transformed political communication and rhetoric within/between cultures that acquire information through non-traditional mediums such as sign language, visual media, or interpretation. Julia is from Southern Maryland and got a BA in English from Brigham Young University. She currently lives at Gallaudet University in NE DC with her husband and works as a part-time sign language interpreter in addition to her position as gnovis' Co-Editor-in-Chief. Her ultimate goal is to work as a communication strategist for government or private agencies in order to increase political accessibility for minority groups.
